Myrtle - Year 3/4
Myrtle has been learning about Christian Life in Religion this term. We have learnt that we are God's gifts. We chose our favourite animals and plants and displayed them as God's gifts. We have also made a display of our baby photos and invited the school to guess who is who. We have learnt about what our conscience is and how it guides us between right and wrong. There are three steps to making good choices:
1. Stop and think it over.
2. Talk it over (with God, our parents and other good people).
3. Reflect on how things turned out as a way of learning for the future.
Our conscience is the little voice in our heads and hearts that tell us what is right and wrong. An example of when we have made a good decision with our conscience:
Being nice to others (Annie).
Being kind, caring and helping people (Aylah).
Not taking a cookie when mum said not to (Jaydah).
Knowing that stealing is a bad thing (Levi).
When my brother is annoying me, I ask him to stop and he doesn't so I tell my mum and dad (Amelia).
Listening to mum and dad (Leo).
Do not steal (Mayson).
