In Blue Gum, we have been very busy learning, collaborating and understanding school rules and expectations. 

In literacy, we have been learning about short and long words, plus looking at syllables. During this learning, we use clapping and stomping to assists with the children's thinking and processing of information.

Last week, the nursery rhyme was Old MacDonald had a Farm. A sensory learning experience was created to capture and support the children's ideas. The children loved re-enacting the nursery rhyme through the sensory play that was created. 

We look forward to the next three weeks left of term one.
